What is the most suitable reasonably priced daily Japanese sports car to buy?

I need it for driving around the streets daily. What is the best buy considering reliability, power and consumption? The roads of the place that I lived are rough with lots of potholes.
I would also be using it to take my family for outing using that car. So it has to be a four door or 2 door with ample back leg room and has big trunk.

I believe I would go with the Toyota Camry or the Honda Accord these are the two best sellers in the USA.

I have 2002 Honda Accord, V6, coupe. I love it. it has been virtually maintenance-free, gets okay mileage (though not great), the back is pretty roomy and it handles crappy roads rather well. I got it brand new in California for 25K, but used ones are as good.
I'd buy another one any time. It has been a great experience.
